You did the right thing....... I put my Mom in an assisted living last August. One thing that I have learned the hard way is to try to stop second guessing myself. It is so difficult to "parent your parent".
I am a single mom with a seven year old son.
Trying to rationalize with my 85 year old mother is often more difficult than dealing with my seven year old.
