Medicaid Assistance

I'm looking for any assistance with applying for Medicaid in New York State. I'm guardian of my 87 year old aunt who is not in an assisted care facility on Long Island. Unfortunately, I live in Florida which makes it extremely hard. She gets a decent Social Security but does not even cover her $1400 a month rent. Does not qualify for a nursing home..Any suggestions who I might be able to contact and get assistance with applying for Medicaid..I don't have too much money for consultation. Thanks!
