Changing Doctors

My dad is 75 and has had many health problems over the last year. My 2 older brothers' and I are none too keen on his doctor, but my dad loves him(dad's been seeing him since 1965). We would like dad to see a geriatric specialist. Dad hates the idea. I have voiced my opinions to him on the subject and now I feel the rest is his choice. My brothers do not agree and prefer to badger dear old dad. What do you think is the best way to handle this subject. Thanks for your advice.
