The Business Package is available to those who are starting their own elder care business.  This is not a franchise agreement -- there are no ongoing obligations between Transitions and your business beyond what is stated below.

The following items are included in the Business Package.  All materials, including the Transitions logo and name, are copyrighted, and cannot be reprinted or used without the written consent of a Transitions representative.  These materials are to be used as a starting point for creating your own unique materials.

  1. Two (2) hours of personal consultation with Carla MacGregor (via phone or e-mail).  Unlimited consultation in a private e-mail forum used by Transitions and those businesses who purchase this package.
     
  2. Legal Contract Example: the case manager signs this document with their client or client family.
     
  3. Billing Form Example: this document is sent to the responsible financial party. It can be tailored for monthly or quarterly billing.
     
  4. Fee Schedule Example: this schedule has a description of services and accompanying charges. These charges can be modified based on the market, location and experience of the provider.
     
  5. Press Release Example: Transitions, Inc. has used this press release to generate interest in our company and the services we provide. The information can be modified to fit your business specifications and to include your own personal data. Additionally, a press release about information available on the Internet or web is included.
     
  6. List of Potential Publications and Market: this includes the different type of businesses or individual markets that you may want to consider being involved in.
     
  7. Seminar Materials: the outline and video of a seminar given by Carla MacGregor on "Caring for your Aging Parents."  This seminar can be marketed to adult education programs or community groups.
     
  8. Corporate Portfolio Example: This packet can be sent to potential businesses and human resource directors who may be interested in utilizing the services of an elder care consultant. This information can also be provided to Employee Assistance Programs who often contract with large firms.
     
  9. Advertising Example: An advertisement that ran in several area newspapers and directories. The ad can be modified with your individual logo and information.
     
  10. Key Words: this is a list of words related to elder care for use on web sites.
     
  11. Cover Letter and Letter of Introduction Examples:
    a) for sending to prospective individual clients.
    b) for sending to prospective corporate clients.
    c) for networking with other businesses.
     
  12. Census and Research Data on eldercare issues.
     
  13. A copy of our guide book "Where Do We Begin: A Guide to Elder CareGiving."
